Previous Projects
Alongside spotlight concerts, the Eskandari Quartet have performed at events in many venues around Manchester including Gorton Monastery, Whitworth Hall, the Bridgewater Hall foyer, and The Hilton Hotel. Their performance at Extinction Rebellion protests in August 2019 was featured on BBC News.

The Eskandari Quartet presented a varied programme as part of Manchester Cathedral's Coffee Concert series, including the premier of a newly commissioned work by Fraz Ireland and a recent composition by Matt Brown (matthewbrowncomposer.co.uk).

Benjamin Marrington-Reeve- Blindfolded
The Eskandari quartet were invited by the University of Manchester to perform at a lunchtime concert hosted by Manchester University Music Society as part of the inaugural New Music Manchester festival. They performed Benjamin Marrington-Reeve's Blindfolded, a work the Eskandari commissioned and premiered in Spring 2019.

On March 19th 2019 the Eskandari Quartet presented a full-length concert programme at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, sitting contemporary works alongside core works from the string quartet repertory. It featured two new works that had been written for the quartet by Will Frampton (www.willframpton.co.uk) and Benjamin Marrington-Reeve.
